A few words to describe how I was feeling a few hours ago.
Help me! Without You I’ll never be successful. Guide me! I don’t know what to do or where to go. Hold me! Without Your embrace, I’ll crumble to pieces. Be my light, in this dark world. Protect me from harm. Protect me from myself. Take control. Without You, nothing is worth it.
I was texting with a friend the other day about random topics. He asked my opinion on Dating & Religion. Is it difficult to date when religion is involved? I say… no.
Wait. what? NO?.. yes NO. If you got your mind right that is. There’s always going to be some sort of disagreement between couples. Its normal; not any two people are exactly the same.
One can be strictly dedicated to God while the other is in between.
One can be dedicated to God while the other one really doesn’t care or is atheist, agnostic or whatever other religion you want to believe.
Sometimes you can even have two people who are dedicated to God but have different beliefs such as how to dress, how to raise children, etc.
Relationships in general can be complicated.
If someone who is dedicated to God dates someone out in the world (someone not following Gods ways and not dedicating their lives to Him) then there’s a chance that the person not dedicated to God CAN convert but there’s an even bigger chance that the one who was once doing Gods will, will part from His ways.<em> Heartbreaking right?
Do you really want to be in a relationship with someone who has different beliefs? Someone whose way of life will constantly clash with yours?
God is so wonderful that He forgives our sins; but don’t take that for granted. One day Jesus will come and it will be too late.
I rather just leave it in Gods hands. When He gives you something or in this case someone.. He doesn’t give the leftovers.. He gives it good.
Well, one simple way to avoid that.. Know what you want and most importantly need and leave it in Gods hands. Do not be with someone unless God tells you he or she is the one for you. Have Him take control. He’s the only one who knows best. Stop trying to look for someone and then be left crying at the end. Not only would you have wasted your time and gotten hurt but you’re going to look bad. People will talk, you will be hurt, and most importantly…. you would’ve put your salvation on the line. Is anyone worth that? Seriously.
Once people THINK they are in “love” that’s when they do even more (for lack of a better word) stupid stuff.
